Privacy Policy — Taboo Party

Effective date: 28 June 2026

Taboo Party (“the app”) is a local, pass-and-play party word game. This policy explains what data the app and its service providers handle. By using the app you agree to this policy.

The app has no user accounts and no login. You do not create a profile or give us your name, email, or contacts.

Data the app stores on your device

We do not receive or store this data on our own servers.

Purchases

In-app purchases (premium deck packs / the complete bundle) are processed by Apple’s App Store. We never see or store your payment information. Apple determines what you own; the app simply asks Apple.

Deck content

Word decks are downloaded from our content host (GitHub Pages). These are public, anonymous content requests — no personal data is sent to retrieve them.

Analytics, crash reporting & performance (Firebase / Google)

The app uses Google Firebase to understand usage, fix crashes, and monitor performance:

This data is pseudonymous (tied to a random app-instance identifier, not your identity). It is processed by Google as our service provider. See Google’s privacy policy and how Google uses data from apps that use its services.
